ABOUT ME
I help people stop shrinking, trust themselves deeply, and rise into the fullest expression of who they are meant to be.
I’m Lourdes Laifer an author, life coach, mindfulness teacher, and speaker. My work is rooted in a simple belief: when we strengthen self-trust, we change the way we live, work, love, and lead. Through coaching, mindfulness, and mindset work, I help people move from self-doubt and burnout into resilience, confidence, and a more sustainable way of being.
MY STORY
For much of my life, I knew what it felt like to question myself. I struggled with low self-esteem, self-confidence, and a constant sense that I was not enough. Even when my life looked full on the outside, I often felt disconnected from my own worth and unsure of my place in the world.
Everything changed when my mother died suddenly. Her passing became a heartbreaking loss, but also a turning point. It forced me to slow down and face the truth that I could no longer keep living on autopilot. I couldn't keep checking boxes, playing roles, and hoping that someday life would feel meaningful. I needed to ask bigger questions about purpose, identity, and what it really means to live fully.
THE PATH FORWARD
That loss pushed me into a deeper journey of healing and growth. Along the way, I earned my coaching certification, completed my BA in Psychology, pursued additional coaching training, and found my way into mindfulness work that changed my life. The tools I learned helped me release old burdens, soften the inner criticism I had carried for so long, and build a much kinder relationship with myself.
What began as my own transformation eventually became my professional mission.
WHAT I DO NOW
Today,I work with people who are tired of overextending, overthinking, and over-functioning. Many of the people I support look strong on the outside, but inside they feel worn down, disconnected, and unsure of themselves. They're carrying stress, self-doubt, and the quiet pressure to keep it all together.
I help them slow down, reconnect with themselves, and build the self-trust and resilience they need to move forward with more clarity and confidence.
My approach combines mindfulness, mindset, and compassionate support in a way that feels practical, grounded, and human. I believe real change happens when we feel safe enough to be honest with ourselves, gentle enough to grow, and supported enough to keep going. I try to create that kind of space in every coaching conversation and every talk I give.
SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE
A lot of my speaking and teaching centers on burnout, resilience, self-worth, confidence, and mindset. My signature keynote, Unshrink Yourself: From Surviving to Sustaining Without Burning Out, reflects the heart of my message.
I believe burnout is often a sign that we've been living too far outside of ourselves for too long. When we learn to trust ourselves again, we can begin to live and lead in a way that feels more grounded, sustainable, and true.
MY BELIEF
I truly believe we don't have to wait until later to feel confident, worthy, or whole. We can begin now.
We can stop shrinking.
We can trust ourselves more deeply.
We can rise into a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and fully our own.
My mission is to help people stop shrinking and start living with greater confidence, clarity, and courage.
