About Lourdes
Certified Life Coach, Mindfulness Teacher, Author
Helping others has always been an essential part of my life. My journey into coaching began with my own struggles with self-confidence and self-worth due to childhood bullying experiences. Working with a coach to address these issues was truly life-changing; being able to unearth the seed of my unworthiness and conquer my negative beliefs was transformative. This experience inspired me to become certified as a life coach. I realized that much of the suffering in people’s lives stems from negative and limiting beliefs due to past events.
As a certified life coach, I work with clients struggling with stress, anxiety, self-doubt, and challenging life transitions. I meet my clients where they are, offering them supportive guidance to overcome their obstacles and shrink their suffering. My approach focuses on compassion, curiosity, and connection. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you will feel seen, heard, and valued. As my client, you'll experience a blending of evidence-informed tools, mindfulness practices, and somatics that calm the nervous system, reduce overwhelm, and reconnect you with your inner strength. Together, we'll rebuild confidence so that you can navigate life's

challenges with a calm clarity rooted in your strengths and inner wisdom. We’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, so that you can build skills that will continue to serve you long after our sessions have ended.
I come to this work equipped with a B.A. in Psychology, a Positive Psychology Specialization Certification, and a lifelong passion for self-development. In addition to my coaching work, I am a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher and love to share the research-backed benefits of mindfulness-meditation with others through private and public presentations. The integration of my coaching tools helps participants gain awareness and insight into their behavior patterns, which then primes them for change.
My book, A Path to Resilience: Small Steps to an Unshakable You, combines ancient wisdom, mindfulness, and modern psychology into tools that can be used to navigate adversity with grace, respond instead of react, and find stability in the midst of uncertainty. Inner peace doesn't depend on perfect circumstances but on practiced perspective. Life will present challenges, and building inner resilience allows us to meet life as it is, not as we wish it to be.
I volunteered at the town library, local school, and within our community while raising my two daughters. As a past president of the school's PTA, I was able to help and inspire other parents to continue creating a more enriching environment, filled with incredible opportunities for our children. Through my work in this role, I discovered my ability to encourage, inspire, uplift, and help others to believe in themselves and their abilities.
I also enjoy yoga, hiking, beading jewelry, karaoke, Qigong, and volunteering with the Be A Friend Project. These passions not only enrich my life but also bring balance and joy, which I strive to share with my clients.
